It's quite a long time since I actually used one of these things. But in the end, I said "What a rip off!".

I was disappointed when I got it (Actually wanted either Haruhi or Mikuru) but It's OK I guess.
I took a look at the stage area and found a guy in bomberman costume. I was like "WTF?! O_O" lolololol". I pitied the guy in the suit. Choking in that "colorful" suit BUT his airhole (On top, right in the middle) elevated this problem.
Then I saw this girl trying to be those sexy girls in sailor costume and those sort of stocking. Thing is: Not taking the extra effort to improve on the costume.
My "senior", Charleston (Who's more of an Otaku then me) bought this Fan comic. I never did like fanfiction or those sort of things.
Opening crermony: Can't really remember who their are but one guy is from the Asia Cybergames Organizers, one lady is the Cineleisure's manager (Can't remember what she actually does but the term "Manager" should suffice) and the other lady (In really short skirt) is the comic fiesta's representative. Ya, I know O_O at comic fiesta rep lololololol.
I kinda know how the ladies feel around mascots with a large head + a bomb.
BUT in the name of publicity, the "hug" the mascot for a photo session.
Charleston notices a cosplayer cosplaying as Riku. I didn't notice earlier until I gotten a closer look. The costume was OK but Only when I got a closer look then it confirm what Charleston said.
Loads of games to have fun. Problem is few people actually plays it. Myabe because it's kinda early (11 to 12 p.m.) and it's a Saturday (Loads of reason that you can make up logically). Charleston persuaded me to buy the tickets to play this games but I refuse for obvious reasons.
And of course, you seen this in most animes. Gold Fish Fishing! Looks better in anime though.
Catgirls!!! BUT not associated to the game they're promoting lolololol. Thinking they can attract more people with this trick. PPHHFFTTT!!!! As if i fall for that kind of seduction, I'm no lamer or have those perverted needs like the Otakus in Japan (I'm generalizing from a documentary my senior, Shin(http://atalude.wordpress.com/) show me and my club members.
The first day, I guess, is the day of the art competition.
Saw this guy at the art competition. As you can see the most obvious feature is the neko hat from Azumanga Daioh. I wish I had that hat lololololol. But seriously, I want the Neko hat.
From this point, I took pics of the cosplayers here and there. Charleston being excited (His first ACG) took the opportunity to take pics with his fav character.

The representative was cosplaying Mia Fey/Chihiro Ayasato from the Nitendo DS game 'Ace Attorney' that day. Personally, I think she did it pretty well, considering she had to change into costume really quickly in order to be able to launch the event.
Oh, and before you said her costume wasn't complete, she wasn't able to get some of the accessories and the proper wig until after the opening ceremony.
About C.C, well, I'm pretty sure you got the gist of it above, so I'll refrain from commenting any further.

Just wondering, Ian, are you actually proud of this, or is this really a repeat of the forum issue? Pardon me if I'm wrong, but the way you SMS-ed me this morning seemed to hint that you were pleased enough to announce it...
I won't deny you the credit you deserve; to the others, I can vouch that Ian isn't that bad of a president, and it is with his dedication to Taylors' Anime Society that our events were successful this year. But Ian, if you remember me lecturing you countless times before, you really have to be more tactful with your speech. Watch your words...Others don't know you as we do and your words can offend people easily.
I just find it rather uncalled for to view the rest of Taylors' Anime Society as "extremely pathetic and desperate". Don't view us in a warped angle just because of the actions of one person. I know and have worked closely with the rest of the committee members, and I can attest that they are good-natured, friendly, hardworking people who would never think of dissing dirt on anyone. Please do separate personal from professional, and not judge the society through Ian's personal domains.
Ian, Yen's right. We can't keep covering up for you each time this happens. You've gotta learn for yourself how to deal with the public. I can't understand either, how you can end up being flamed not just on the forum, but even on your own blog. Your president offends us in one simple manner. He's condescending. He seems to look down on anyone and anything that is without his field of knowledge. This is what pisses most people, including me, off.
His manner of speaking to people, while may seem direct to him, is actually quite rude (let's not get into the subjectiveness of politeness here).

Assuming that your aunt knows more than you, but you assume you knew more than her, would you still TALK DOWN to her? Why would you want to talk down to her anyway?
That's the same case here. You're simply talking down to people without really thinking of whether what they're saying made sense. You laugh at them, make fun of them, but have you made the effort to understand them first?
If you wish to claim yourself as the President of a Society as a means to back your opinion up, DON'T.
It's more than just a PR disaster waiting to happen; you're tarring the rest of your society's reputation with what is essentially your own personal opinion. If you were representing the Society's interests in a professional capacity then perhaps your announcing your ties to the Society would be justified, but in this case, it is not. As you can see, it has led to the embarrassment of your own members publicly rebuking you.
Is this the way for a president to behave or be chided? In public and full view of the Internet and anyone who's watching?
I don't intend this post to be flaming, though I do believe that there will be a number of people who think I am. This is simply my opinion of how Zen has managed to piss off so many people in one go.
Don't ever talk down to people, especially if they're going to be your customers or your seniors, superiors, etc. Don't talk down to anyone, period. Learn to conduct yourself professionally, especially since you claim to be the President of a Society.

Not having played the game before is really no excuse for your ignorance. Going 'O___O lol' at the CF representative, especially with you being the president of your society, gives the impression that you're looking down on her. Which really isn't the wisest action to take, even if she hadn't been cosplaying. As it is, you missed the fact that she was cosplaying and instead of sounding witty, you end up sounding both belittling and foolish.
Please have more care with your choice of wording next time before you post. Believe me, it's not exactly a good thing to be famous due to ignorance.

At least you admit the way you speak maybe part of the problem. You might want to reconsider how you speak. I have a number of Aussie and American friends, and none of them would talk like you. I suppose it's more of an issue with the way you put yourself across rather than your own opinion, which you are entitled to.
Also, perhaps an important rule to remember when it comes to things like these: If it's not necessary, DON'T. In this case, you did not need to mention how you knew Ten Ten. We would not ask nor would we care.
You may wish to keep a blog for yourself, but as long as you set it to public, keep in mind that you're writing for an audience.
